Just posted on ArtByAnnaG Designs, from Recent Exhibitions, two of these plus a few more:

The Sketchbook Project sponsored by the Brooklyn Art Library was a turning point of sorts for me.  I had always wanted to do a book.  I did a memory book of sketches for my brother a few years ago and then this project came to my attention.  There were over thirty pages of pen and ink drawings with color pencil.  The theme, Mystery Maps, was one I chose from dozens offered.  Somehow the topic became an autobiographical journey covering many decades of my life from traveling in the 70's to trips to the Mid-West to see American Indian cultural sites in 2009 and 2010.  "Confluence of the Rivers," (second from text above) came from looking down over the flood plain of the  Mississippi from cliffs where ancient effigy mounds have been found. And some of the drawings were just fantasies that occurred to me during the 'writing' of the book, like the one immediately above, "A Path Through The Woods."
